  we know the bible shows jesus praying to his father, but who is our father?.

  One reference to "amen" is at 1 Cor.14:16. We also know from Rev.3:14 that the resurrected Jesus Christ, the faithful and true witness, refers to himself also as the Amen and the beginning of the creation by [Jehovah] God.

  Thank you, SirNose586, for your balanced, positive, thought-provoking analysis and input at this juncture. Since they have legal entities in Ireland, as elsewhere, Jehovah's Witnesses surely are exercising their right in knowing what the Government of Ireland is up to, and in legally establishing and defending the Good News.   Define your spiritual side

  although i don't go to meetings anymore, i'm inactive, never was disfellowshipped, i still have a "spiritual side to me", something that is deeply rooted in.

  on one side, i see errors the watchtower makes, and on the other side i take what's good about them, and that's why i don't fit in with them.

  i don't meet their standards, nor do they meet mine.

  I think we are all here to learn wisdom from our fellow-terrestrians and make sense of it for ourselves and put it back out so that fellow-terrestrians can benefit. Hopefully we all can honor our Creator in the process.

  Spiritual: God-oriented. Side: edge (as of a triangle); someone's team (as in sports or debating). Jehovah and Satan are still fighting over which side I'm on, and who has the edge. I don't know what the score is right now, but I know that Satan's side won't win, because they die by Jehovah's fire. That's why we have to build with fire-resistant materials: faith, accurate Bible knowledge, etc.

  What do you think is behind the watchtower change in 2008 ?

  i think it's an atempt to catch faders or atleast make active dubs feel special.

  it also could be a cost cutting measure to though.

  getting rid of the km's and even up awakes and watchtowers would save some trees.
